Booking In
All drivers will have to log with Rob Tinto or Trevor Foskett (administrators)of their attendance intention for the following race meeting by the end of the current race meeting.It is the drivers responsibility to advise the administrators no later than 48 hours before the next race meeting advertised start time of a change of that intention. Any no shows without notice will be fined £10 which must be paid before any championship points can be accumulated. Fines will be added to the British Championship prize fund.


Grids (for 2010)
Grids for the first race of the new season will be as per the previous seasons final points chart and each race will be in the same points format apart from designated championship/Memorial where a public draw will determine.



Engine Checking
The Promotion reserves the right to the severity of the engine checking.
The promotion reserves the right to check Carbs, Inlet Manifolds (2.9) and Heads (2 .9) at any time.
Carb Blocks. Numbers will be checked at Scrutineering.
(You may also be asked to remove your Carb to have Block checked)
REFUSAL WILL DEEM THE CAR ILLEGAL

Flag Signals
Racing is controlled by LIGHTS and FLAG Signals
ALL drivers MUST Understand and OBEY these signals at ALL times.
IGNORANCE IS NOT ONLY DANGEROUS, BUT NO DEFENCE

All Races will be started by two warm up laps followed by one rolling lap.
The racing will normally be started from the Starters Rostrum with a GREEN Flag and around the raceway with GREEN Lights.
(Some Re-Starts and Special event races may be started by a Rolling Lap and/or the Pace Car.

GREEN FLAG and GREEN LIGHTS

YELLOW FLAG ( Held Steady )
CAUTION

YELLOW FLAG ( Waved ) YELLOW Lights ( Flashing )
Use Extreme Caution. Reduce speed quickly and Proceed in line astern.
Do Not Change Race Position (NO OVERTAKING)

Warm up laps are also done under a Waved Yellow Flag

WHITE with BLUE SPOT Flag
Take care there is Oil or Debris on the track.

BLUE FLAG
Hold a racing line ( Inside or Outside, Preferably inside)
There is a quicker driver trying to pass, you MUST GIVE him room.
If you ignore the Blue Flag you will be given a Black Flag

Black Flag
DRIVER INDICATED IS EXCLUDED FROM THE RACE AND MUST PULL OFF THE TRACK IMMEDIATELY (This may be the result of mechanical failure, do not ignore the black flag)

Red Flag (Waved) / Red Flashing Lights
The race has been STOPPED
STOP Racing IMMEDIATELY and proceed as instructed by the track officials

Chequered Flag
The race leaders have completed their race distance.
ALL CARS MUST CONTINUE RACING UNTIL THE RED FLAGS / LIGHTS ARE SHOWN.

RACING
Jumping the Start
If you are deemed to have jumped the start you will be docked
( Stewards Discretion )

BLOCKING
There will be No blocking of drivers trying to pass. You MUST give a driver chance to pass If he can. If you are deemed to be blocking, or you are deemed not to be giving the passing driver enough room to pass you WILL receive a Black Flag.
You MUST give another competitor room to go around the outside if he can. You MUST NOT run another competitor out to the Wall / Armco / Fence Or onto the infield. If YOU DO, YOU WILL be Severely dealt with.

Blue Flag
Hold a correct racing line (inside or outside you cannot have both, preferably inside) as a quicker competitor is trying to pass, OR you are about to be lapped.
If you do not adhere to a Blue flag within 3 laps you will be given a Black Flag.

Passing other cars
You MUST make sure that you are past the car before you pull back in,
If you pull back in and cut up the other driver you will be penalised.

Bumper Contact
You MUST keep bumper contact to a minimum. You MUST NOT take the car in front off his racing line, if you do you WILL be penalised. (Stewards Discretion)

STEWARDS DECISIONS
The Rule for Super Rod Drivers is, if you do not agree with a decision made by the Steward of the Meeting,( whether it be by the steward of the relevant Promotion or the Super Rod Steward you MUST NOT confront the relevant Promoters Staff, ( be it the Steward, the track staff or the Promoter) You MUST take it to your Drivers Rep and/or the Super Rod Management Official.
